Pentecost Sequence: Veni Sancte Spiritus

A sequence was prescribed for this morning's Mass, the Veni Sancte Spiritus (not to be confused with the Veni Creator Spiritus).  Hopefully you heard something remotely like this (at least in word and thought) between the second reading and the Gospel:

One of my favorite versions from when I was back in the music business is the Veni Sancte Spiritus by Michael M. Birkley, GIA (GI.G-4779), 1999.  Sorry, GIA has not seen fit to put a good preview on the internet... you are missing out on the real beauty and fire of this arrangement with the mere 30 seconds and two pages that are out there...
